Good Morning Delmarva discusses the Lower Shore Autism Community’s Luncheon

WMDT – The Lower Shore Autism Community is hosting a luncheon on January 29th with a highly esteemed and award-winning speaker.

It’s an opportunity to hear how Dr. Kerry Mango became a role model in the disability community.

This morning, Clay Belgie and Jayme Del Vecchio, are both here to tell us more about the event.

The Lower Shore Autism Community hosts monthly family support meetings and a young adult social group.

It’s an opportunity for participants to work on social skills and communications.

Belgie says that getting to see the smiles on their faces and watching them develop as they get older warms their hearts.

Dr. Kerry Mango will be speaking on his journey of overcoming the challenges that come with autism and starting a successful career.

Veechio, a parent to two children with autism, says she is very excited to hear the presentation and learn from his experience.

Tickets are $35 and all money raised will be used to support LSPAC programs in the area.
