Fatal house fire in Millsboro under investigation

MILLSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Fire Marshals are investigating a fatal fire in the Millsboro area.

We’re told the fire was reported just before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, at a townhouse in the 31000 block of Crepe Myrtle Drive Gull Point. While battling the blaze, firefighters found a deceased victim inside the home. The victim was turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science for identification and cause of death.

The fire remains under investigation. No other injuries were reported, and damage was estimated at $350,000.
