Equity in education event to shed light on the Delaware school system

DELAWARE. – The Vision Coalition will host an equity in education event on December 6th.

The event will happen at the Wilmington University Dover Campus. Non-profit organizations will be there including Rodel Delaware.

Topics will focus on the local and national landscape. With the main focus being kindergarten through 12th-grade funding within the school system.

Rodel Communications Director, Matt Amis hopes this important meeting will push the envelope on funding.

“The old funding system is almost 80 years old. It’s thought by many experts to be inequitable, putting low-income and non-native English-speaking students at a disadvantage.”
