Christmas Eve shooting in Dover leaves one teen dead
DOVER, Del. – The teenager who was shot on Christmas Eve in Dover has died.
Dover police announced today that a 14-year-old male has died from injuries sustained in a shooting on Christmas Eve.
Just before 7 p.m. on December 24, Dover police were notified by Bayhealth Hospital that the teen had been admitted with a gunshot wound.
Investigators say the victim was sitting in a parked vehicle on Willis Road when two suspects fired several shots at the car before fleeing the scene.
