Dover basketball opens season with win
DOVER, Del. – The reigning champs open their season with a win over William Penn at home, 54-47.
After trailing by the half, 19-17, Dover came out and scored more in the third quarter (18) than they did in the first half, grabbing a four-point edge heading into the final period.
The Senators then followed up in the fourth quarter scoring 19 points to the Colonials 16.
Jayvion Denis lead the team in points with 17.
Kameron Jackson-Dickson and Tarrance Williams both added 7 points each.
The Senators capitalized on free throws making 10-of-13 on the night.
