Delaware State Police looking for driver in hit-and-run incident

LINCOLN, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal hit and run that happened early Christmas morning in Lincoln.

Police say around 3:30 am a pickup truck was traveling northbound on Cubbage Pond road approaching the intersection at Johnson Road.

At that same time a pedestrian was walking along Cubbage Pond road.

Delaware police say the victim was struck by the pickup truck – which allegedly sped away.

The victim identified as a 29-year-old male from Milford was pronounced dead at the scene.
