Decatur boys basketball continues to dominate

CRISFIELD, Md. – Decatur scored a decisive win over Crisfield, 81-51, on Friday evening.

With the Seahawks football team winning their second championship, head coach BJ Johnson and senior Solomon David had this to say about their future goals.

“Well, we want to win all our home, we want to win every game in the conference. We want to win the bayside conference, region and of course the state championship. You know, having the football players back along with the guys been since November 15th, they gel real quick because a lot of these guys played together last year,” said Johnson.

Solomon David scored a team high of 18 points for the Seahawks.

“Them (Decatur Football Team) just coming off a state win, you know, I think they just bringing the hustle back. You know, the ones that ain’t play football you know we want a ring too, so I’m sure were gonna get there,” said Solomon David. 

Two time Decatur football Champ Davin Chandler was right behind with 16 points.
