Cape Henlopen can’t hold off Bethesda in Governors Challenge

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Cape fell short of victory against Bethesda, 45-40, Friday afternoon at UMES.

Cape and Bethesda went back in forth in the first half with a score of 22-21, Cape being on top by one point. Continuing to go back and forth during the third quarter Cape fell short of points trailing 14-9.

By the fourth quarter Cape failed to make up points as well as scoring less than Bethesda, 10-9.

Hayden Hudson scored the team’s high 13 points with Faith Re not far behind with 10.
