Big Brothers Big Sisters in need of donations for local youth
SALISBURY, Md. – Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore is asking the community to help make Christmas special for local youth.
The organization opened up its Christmas wish list on Amazon, where folks can purchase items that children and teens need. Senior nonprofit specialist, Veronica Stancliff said they want to put a focus on the older kids in the program, to help make their holiday a memorable one.
“Right now, we have an abundance of gifts for children that are younger, ages 0-11, but we’re really seeking help in providing a fantastic holiday for those older teenagers,” Stancliff said.
You can find the wish list on the organization’s Facebook page, @BigBrothersBigSistersoftheEasternShore, and you can drop your donations off at the Greater Salisbury Building.
