Wicomico Co. library welcomes public to give input on new branch design
WICOMICO COUNTY. – The Wicomico County Public Library is asking for public input on plans for a new branch.
Architect Mike Wheedleton will be at an upcoming community meeting to unveil his vision for the new Salisbury Branch.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and even make suggestions for the conceptual design. Grants and outreach manager, Aurelio Giannitti, encouraged anyone who uses the library to attend Thursday’s meeting and share their ideas.
“There’s nothing set in stone at this point. We’re just starting the design process, so this is the perfect opportunity for the community to tell us what features they want, rather than us tell them what features they’re going to have,” Giannitti said.
The meeting will be held at the downtown branch location at 5:30PM.
