Traffic stop leads to DUI, drug, and firearm charges for Seaford man
SEAFORD, Del. – A Laurel man was arrested on numerous charges following a stop early Saturday morning.
At around 1 a.m., a trooper on patrol in the area of Middleford Road reportedly saw a maroon Chevrolet Equinox cross over the yellow lane lines several times, subsequently stopping the vehicle. The trooper noticed signs of impairment while talking with the driver and sole occupant, identified as 18-year-old Juda Hudson. After administering Field Sobriety Tests, the trooper arrested Hudson, and found approximately 136.69 grams of marijuana in various packages and a loaded handgun in the vehicle.
Hudson was charged with multiple drug and firearm offenses, as well as DUI. He was held at SCI on a $15,502 secured bond.
