The Watchmen with One Voice Ministerial Alliance will host gun violence cavalcade Sunday

 

SALISBURY, Md. – The Watchmen with One Voice Ministerial Alliance is hosting a gun violence awareness cavalcade. The hope is to help prevent gun violence in Salisbury.

Staging will begin at West Salisbury Elementary at 12:30 p.m.

The riders will stop at three locations for prayer, the first one on Chippewa Avenue, the second on Booth Street, and the final on Delaware Avenue at the Salisbury Police Station.

President, of the One Voice Alliance, Pastor Lewis N Watson, hopes to make an impact with the event.

“We want to ride throughout the community to bring awareness to how this looks, to bring reality to how you should feel when you see a vehicle like this coming into your home or neighborhood.”

The Salisbury Police, Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, and Maryland State Police are participating in the cavalcade,

It’ll take place on Sunday, November 3rd at 2 p.m. It is free to the public.
