Smyrna fall to St. Georges ahead of playoffs

MIDDLETOWN, Del. – Smyrna fell short against St. Georges, 19-6, on Saturday afternoon in Middletown.

Eagles wide receiver Phoenix Henriquez scored early in the first quarter as the Eagles were off to a fast start.

The Hawks then score 19-unanswered points with a touchdown from Jayson Brooks and two scores from Joel Buck.

Smyrna falls to 4-5 on the season, but are still 3-1 in the district. They play Sussex Central at home Friday at 7 PM to close out their regular season.
