Shooting in Dover leaves one person in critical condition

DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a 34-year-old man on Tuesday night.
Officers responded to the 400 block of East Water Street at approximately 7:04 p.m. after receiving multiple reports of shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and lower body.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery. He is now in stable condition, though still in critical condition, police said.
Investigators located multiple shell casings at the scene.
