Salisbury PFLAG asking for donations during Giving Tuesday

SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury PFLAG is asking for donations during this Giving Tuesday.

PFLAG Salisbury was established in 2015 and has been making a difference in the community ever since.

The organization introduced the first rainbow crosswalk to Maryland and worked with the city of Salisbury on Pride on the Plaza, which included a rainbow flag raising and a formal declaration of Pride Month.

Executive director, Mark DeLancey laid out what his organization plans to do with funding from Giving Tuesday.

“One of them is actually going to be for the crosswalk itself. We’re also going to [collect] for new and existing programs for the youth component,” DeLancey said. “We’re going to do one for event fundraising and one for just a general fund if people want to donate.”
