Rosenfeld’s Deli makes return in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – A fan favorite deli is making its way back to Salisbury.

Rosenfeld’s Jewish Deli had a history at the Salisbury Airport and in Rehoboth Beach, and now it’s planting its roots back in Salisbury.

While there is another location in Ocean City, co-owner, Warren Rosenfeld, wanted to get out of the resort town scene in Delaware and come back to the city to bring business up.

“People are really excited about it, which is a nice feeling,” Rosenfeld said.

“I wanted to get away from the resort atmosphere. It’s a really hard business model, having 4 months of feast and 8 months of famine. It’s tough to keep help, it’s tough to make the money that you want to make, it’s tough to keep the building the way you want it to be kept, I wanted something that’s more year-round in Salisbury.”

The deli is hosting its grand opening this Friday at 11am, at 923 Mt. Hermon Road.
