Representative Lyndon Yearick is excited to work with Governor-elect Matt Meyer

 

DELAWARE. – The 34th district representative Lyndon Yearick is tells WMDT he’s excited to work with the new Governor.

Governor-elect, Democrat Matt Meyer defeated his republican opponent, Mike Ramone on election night last Tuesday.

Representative Yearick, who is a Republican, has held his seat in the Delaware House for the past decade. He said, he can’t to work alongside Meyer for the betterment of the First State.

“We are really excited about looking at his budget and looking at the revenue. We are all in supporting the working-class people with some targeted personal income tax cuts.”

Governor-elect Meyer has already started a transition website to help staff the new administration. He will officially take office on January 21st.
