Rep. Jeff Hilovsky wins reelection in Delaware’s 4th Representative District

DELAWARE – Representative Jeff Hilovsky won reelection Tuesday night in Delaware’s 4th representative district.

Rep. Hilovsky won the seat with 58% of the vote, defeating Democratic challenger Gregg Lindner by a margin of nearly 3,000 votes in total.

Hilovsky said education remains at the top of his priorities, specifically teaching financial literacy in schools.

“When I went to their doors, 100% of the people said, ‘Absolutely, how could we not have financial literacy in the high schools?'” he said, adding that he would like to see Delaware add a cabinet-level secretary for Veterans Affairs.

Hilovsky first took office in 2022, this term will be his second.
