Pets Thanksgiving at Brandywine Valley SPCA
GEORGETOWN, Del. – Brandywine Valley SPCA was pleased with its Thanksgiving Feast. The rescue and adoption group hosted their long-standing tradition of feeding pets for Thanksgiving.
With support from Kenny’s family foundation and food from ShopRite, volunteers and staff were able to give each animal, a Thanksgiving plate.
On the plate, were turkey, potatoes, and vegetables. Georgetown campus, operations manager Laura Page knows the animals love this tradition.
“One way to share the love and thanks that we have for our volunteers, our staff, and of course the animals that come to us. This is a meaningful way and a visual way.”
Brandywine Valley plans to have its big adoption event on December 14th and 15th.
Community members can shop for animals at a discounted price.
