Pack a shoebox to help a child for Operation Christmas Child

SALISBURY, Md. – It is National Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child between November 18th – November 25th.

The people can pack a shoebox full of gifts to give to children in need this Christmas. The gifts can include toys, dolls, and musical instruments.

After being packed, people can take them to their designated drop-off locations.

Central Drop-off Team Lead, Nikki Smith hopes this will be significant to children around the country. “We’re doing it to bless the child tangibly, but to also tell them about Christ; If you package your box this week, please bring it by to Providence Presbyterian Church on 311 Parker Road in Salisbury.”

This year, Operation Christmas Child’s goal is to collect enough shoebox gifts to reach another 12 million children.
