OCPD Lieutenant receives award

OCEAN CITY, Md. – This past weekend, Lieutenant Allen Hawk accepted the Outstanding Innovative Award at the 23rd Annual Maryland Impaired Driving Law Enforcement award ceremony.

In 2023, the Ocean City Police Department, along with Lt. Hawk, started the Eastern Shore’s first cannabis intoxication impaired driving lab, which earned Hawk this recognition.
