November is National Homelessness Awareness Month
TALBOT COUNTY, Md. – November is National Homelessness Awareness Month, and advocacy groups are looking to provide resources to give people who are struggling with homelessness opportunities for help.
Hudson Berry, a representative for the Talbot Interfaith Shelter said, the group will continue to pull the necessary resources together to provide homeless individuals with stability and shelter.
“Especially in Talbot County, which is one of the wealthiest counties not only in Maryland but in this country, we have a lack of affordable housing for families, for young people, there is a lot of land here but a lot of it is undeveloped.”
