Local woman collects donations for neighbors in need

MARYLAND. – A local organization is collecting clothing donations this holiday season.

Randy’s crew is paying it forward by accepting coats, hats and gloves and other items to distribute to 37 families in need between Wicomico and Worcester counties.

Jill Ferrante said the donation drive gives folks an opportunity to clean out their closets and give back to their neighbors.

“Even if you just take one piece of clothing out of your closet– we all have an extra pair of pants or maybe a shirt, something that we bought that we may not like or that may not fit anymore– anything that’s gently used, it doesn’t have to be brand new, it’s waiting gold to other people,” Ferrante said.

You can drop off items at Park Place Jewelers in West Ocean City from now until December 15th.
