Life Crisis Center in need of donations
SALISBURY, Md. – The Life Crisis Center is asking the public for donations and to sponsor a family, ahead of the holiday season.
The center is a safe house for women who are escaping domestic violence, and it plays a crucial role in getting them the support and resources they need to get back on their feet.
The center is in need of winter items, like jackets and hats and gloves. They could also use houseware items like pots and pans for their safe house. Executive Director, Jaime Manning, said they’re also gearing up to give to back to families for thanksgiving.
“We don’t want any family not to be able to share the holidays that all the rest of us are sharing together, and we’re creating boxes that have a turkey or a chicken or a ham in it,” Manning said.
