Hertrich to kick off its 8th annual pack the truck supply drive

MILFORD, Del.,- On Friday Hertrich dealerships will be kicking off its eighth annual snack pack the truck supply drive for the United Service organizations.

Each year the dealership packs trucks with portable supplies, snacks, and monetary donations that are used throughout the year.

These donations help support local enlisted military members and their families on Delmarva

Teena Stout with Hertrich tells us why this initiative is so important for our troops here on the shore.

Stout says “A lot of times you just don’t realize how people can be in all of these different jobs that it takes to run a base or what have you and really never get recognized.”

She also says that “They’re very very receptive to just a thank you even if a thank you is just something cold to drink and a snack that reminds them of what they used to have when they were at home.”

Donations are being collected until December 6th and they can be dropped off at any Hertrich Dealership or Collision Center location.

Each location’s business office has a drop box for monetary donations.
