Good Morning Delmarva discusses the Wild and Scenic Film Festival
WMDT – The Wild and Scenic Film Festival is returning November 14th with a variety of adventure and environmental films.
This morning, Taylor Swanson, the executive director, is here to tell us more about it and how you can purchase tickets!
It’s being hosted by Assateague Coastal Trust which is a non-profit that helps protect the coastal bays in the area.
Swanson says the films are very diverse, but all revolve around how we utilize our outdoor spaces.
You can expect films on topics such as whitewater rafting, rock climbing, birding, and even research on how the climate is affecting the outdoors.
We’re told this unique festival is a great way to celebrate and show appreciation for the natural resources we are provided here on the shore.
The event is being held at Seacrets in Ocean City and doors open at 5:30 p.m.
