Good Morning Delmarva discusses the North Carolina strong fundraiser and donation drive

WMDT – There will be a fundraiser and donation drive tomorrow to help those still in need in North Carolina.

It’s an opportunity to show your support for a good cause by supplying a variety of items.

This morning, Bre Bittner and Staci Palmer, stopped by to discuss the importance of this donation drive.

They tell us this is not just a fundraiser, this event will include chicken platters, cash bash, basket raffles, and live entertainment.

Brittner says that Pohanka, who is helping sponsor the drive, has a big initiative regarding charity events in the community so they will be accepting donations at each location.

Some of the items needed includes diapers, baby formula, blankets, sleep bags, and toiletries.

Palmer explained that it’s very cold in North Carolina so some of items are needed to keep warm.

It will be held at the FOP Lodge #111 tomorrow with performances starting at 1 p.m.
