Good Morning Delmarva discusses the 35th annual Holiday Wrappings Luncheon & Fashion Show

WMDT – The 35th annual Holiday Wrappings Luncheon & Fashion Show is just around the corner on December 10th.

It’s a fun lunch filled with fashion, auctions, and live entertainment while giving you the opportunity to help the fight against cancer.

This morning, Dawne Pappas, from the American Cancer Society, stopped by to tell us more about their mission.

Last year, over 800 women attended, and $94 thousand dollars was raised.

This year, the luncheon is being presented by both Tidal health and Atlantic General Hospital.

They are focusing on caregivers, and all of the fashion will be from local businesses.

Again, the event is December 10th at the Roland Powell Convention Center starting at 10 a.m.

A seat is a $55 dollar donation and there will be other opportunities to support through auctions and a raffle.
