Good Morning Delmarva discuss the 2024 Angel Appeal

WMDT – We are once again participating in Angel Appeal with Coastal Hospice starting next Monday, December 2nd!

It’s their most important fundraiser of the year and you can help make a big difference in hospice care while spreading Christmas cheer.

This morning, Kerrie Bunting, the director of advancement, and Lauren Blair, the community relations and development manager, stopped by to tell us what it’s all about.

They say that the non-profit organization has been around for almost 45 years, and they provide end of life care for those battling a terminal condition.

Coastal Hospice currently serves several counties in the area and the money raised through the charity fund will go towards helping families that have recently lost a loved one.

You can send in a donation and an angel ornament in memory of loved one. They will be hung on one of 12 trees spread out in the Delmarva area.
