When we talked to Head Coach Matt Griffith he had this to say about the game against Kent Island and advancing to the next round:
“Well this is playoff football man, Kent island is a great football team, their well coached, you know we got them early in the season, and we told the kids coming in this is going to be a dog fight all night long. Every week is going to continue to get tougher, we’re gonna get back to work first thing tomorrow morning once we figure out who we’re playing, and we’re going to put a game plan together, are kids are going to come to practice this week, hopefully have a great week of practice, and we’re going to go out and do our very best Friday night where ever we’re playing next week. What I can promise you is they’re going to know they played Easton that’s it. We’re gonna play hard, we’re going to fight till the end, and hopefully it works out for us.”
