DSP investigating shots fired incident in Greenwood
GREENWOOD, Del. – A shooting incident in Greenwood is under investigation.
Delaware State Police say the incident happened in the area of Webb Farm Road and Beach Highway at around 11 a.m. Thursday. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 44-year-old man was driving southbound on Webb Farm Road in a Toyota, approaching Beach Highway. A gray Dodge pick-up pulling a trailer reportedly entered the Toyota’s travel lane, prompting the driver of the Toyota to blow the horn at the Dodge. The Dodge then reportedly pulled over and the driver got out. The victim continued driving southbound onto Oak Road, south of Beach Highway, when he heard multiple gunshots.
Nothing was damaged by gunfire, and no one was injured.
