City of Salisbury announces free on-street parking in downtown area

SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury has announced a new free on-street parking model for the downtown area.

Starting November 4th, on-street parking will be free in any of the more than 250 parking spaces in downtown Salisbury. This is part of an effort to enhance accessibility for those conducting business in the area.

We’re told there will be a 2-hour limit to ensure there are enough spaces throughout the day. As a result, parking kiosks are being removed or covered int he area.

Parking will remain free after 4 p.m. and all day on weekends and holidays.
