Caroline Co. shed destroyed in fire

MARYDEL, Md. – A Caroline County shed was destroyed in an accident fire Sunday afternoon.

Maryland State Fire Marshals say the blaze was reported at around 1 p.m. at 27058 Marydel Road. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze quickly.

Investigators determined the fire was caused by the careless burning of leaves, which extended to the shed. Total damage was estimated at $15,000.
