Camden man arrested for murder in June homicide investigation
MAGNOLIA, Del. – A Camden man is behind bars on murder charges stemming from a June homicide.
On June 30th, troopers were called to the 200 block of Apple Blossom Drive in Magnolia for a welfare check. At the home, police found 72-year-old Marjeanne Lande deceased, and the subsequent investigation revealed that her death was a homicide.
The investigation led detectives to identify Lande’s boyfriend, 63-year-old Gregory Bratcher, as the suspect. Bratcher was indicted by a Kent County Grand Jury on November 4th, and was taken into custody on November 8th. He is being held at SCI on a $1 million cash bond on first degree murder and strangulation charges.
