Cambridge runoff election on the horizon, officials encourage community members to cast their vote
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – With the city of Cambridge’s runoff election just a few weeks away, officials are encouraging voters to get their hands on mail in ballots.
The runoff election will take place on December 3rd, with candidates, LaJan Cephas and Andrew Bradshaw both running for the mayor’s seat.
Current city Mayor, Steve Rideout, encouraged everyone in the community to get out and vote in person, or by mail, to close the chapter to this very close race.
“This will decide who the mayor is for the next 4.5 years, and having a good mayor, a good leader, is critically important to the success of Cambridge,” Rideout said.
Polls will be open from 7am to- 7pm on December 3rd. To get a mail-in ballot, you can fill out the form on the city’s website: www.ChooseCambridge.com
