BVSPCA hosting free cat clinic, Saturday
DOVER, Del. – The Brandywine Valley SPCA is hosting a free spay and neuter clinic this weekend.
The clinic is set up to help level out the population of stray cats in Delaware communities. Residents are encouraged to trap the stray cats, put them in a carrier and take them to the Dover SPCA location to get checked out by a vet.
BVSPCA spokesperson, Sara Smith, encouraged everyone who is able to take part in this initiative.
“This is a good service so that we can make sure that community lives as it is, but doesn’t continue to expand every year, and can be happy and healthy, but not get bigger and more of a burden on the community,” Smith said.
There is a $10 reservation donation required to reserve a spot. To book an appointment, you can visit BrandywineValleySPCA.org.
