2024 Election totals across Maryland & Delaware
These are the results of the 2024 election as of 11:45 p.m. November 5th.
Delaware
Lisa Blunt Rochester was declared the winner of the U.S. Senate seat, defeating Eric Hansen and Michael Katz. Blunt Rochester received 56% of the vote, with Hansen receiving 39.68%, and Katz at 3.89%.
For Representative in Congress, Sarah McBride was declared the winner, defeating John Whalen III with 57.7% of the vote. Whalen received 42.3%.
Matt Meyer was declared the winner of the Governor’s race, defeating Mike Ramone 56% to 44%.
Kyle Evans Gay is the projected winner of the Lieutenant Governor’s Race, holding 55% of the vote. Ruth Briggs King holds just under 45% of the vote.
Trinidad Navarro holds the lead in the race for Insurance Commissioner, with 58.5% of the vote. Ralph Taylor holds 41.55%.
Russ Huxtable holds the lead in the District 6 State Senator race with 54.36% of the vote. Kim Hoey Stevenson currently holds 45.64%.
Jeff Hilovsky holds the lead in the District 4 State Representative race, with 58% of the vote, compared to Gregg Lindner who holds 42% of the vote.
For District 14 State Representative, Claire Snyder-Hall leads with 54.65%. Mike Simpler holds 45.35% of the vote.
For District 20 State Representative, Stell Parker Selby holds the lead with just over 50% of the vote. Nikki Miller trails closely behind at 49.3%.
For District 29 State Representative, William Bush is in the lead with 61% of the vote. Anthony Egipciaco Jr. holds just under 39% of the vote.
For District 32 State Representative, Kerri Evelyn Harris leads with 61.3% of the vote, with Amy Spampinato in second with 38.7% of the vote.
For District 34 State Representative, Lyndon D. Yearick leads with 56% of the vote. Tracey M. Miller holds just under 44%.
For District 36 State Representative, Bryan Shupe holds a solid lead with just under 63% of the vote. Rony Baltazar-Lopez sits at 37% of the vote.
For District 41 State Representative, Rich Collins is in the lead with 64.43% of the vote, and Tom Brett has received 35.57% of the vote.
For Sussex County Council District 3, Jane Gruenebaum holds a slight lead over Mark Schaeffer, with 54.73% of the vote going to Gruenebaum and 45.27% going to Schaffer.
Maryland
For the U.S. Senate seat, Angela Alsobrooks defeated former Governor Larry Hogan. Alsobrooks received 51.79% of the vote, with Hogan taking 45.55%.
For Representative in Congress, Andy Harris was re-elected to another term, defeating Blaine Miller.
Marylanders voted in favor of Question 1, the Right to Reproductive Freedom.
Wicomico County residents voted against Question A, meaning the County Executive position will remain.
In District 2 for the Worcester County Board of Education, Incumbent Donald Smack Sr. holds over 72% of the vote as of 11 p.m., with opponent Kaleemah Barkley holds over 27% of the vote.
In District 3 for the Worcester County Board of Education, Incumbent and former Superintendent Jon Andes received over 54% of the vote, with his opponent Cheryl Middleton holds just over 45%.
In District 5 for the Worcester County Board of Education, Incumbent Elena McComas holds 53% of the vote, with opponent Dorothy Shelton Leslie holding almost 47%.
