Two injured in Dover shooting, investigation underway

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a shooting that left two injured Tuesday afternoon.

Just before 2 p.m., officers were called to the area of South New Street and West Reed Street for a report of shots fired. At the scene, police found two victims reportedly suffering from gunshot wounds to their hands, and learned that two vehicles and a home had also been damaged by gunfire.

Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital.
