Skunk tests positive for rabies in Wicomico Co., health department announces

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wicomico County Health Department says a skunk has tested positive for rabies in Wicomico County.

We’re told the skunk was in the area of Sharps Point Road near Riverside Drive Extended, and tested positive on Monday.

Health officials urge all residents to be aware of their surroundings and avoid contact with all wild or stray animals.
