Seaford Community Garden hosts 2nd annual fall festival Saturday

 

SEAFORD, Del. – The Seaford community garden is hosting its second annual fall festival, at 214 High St. in Seaford.

Starting from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. community members can enjoy raffles, food, and family fun. The garden will also be selling pumpkins, and the sales of the pumpkins will go to a local cause.

President of the Seaford Garden, Cassandra Dayton, said, the organization wants to continue its tradition of giving back to the city.

“We’ve grown 1,011 pounds of food, that’s 1,011 pounds of food that we can record, that we’ve given to local organizations of Seaford, from Seaford Community of Hope to Love Inc, to La red.”
