Police continuing to investigate 2023 fatal shooting in Laurel

LAUREL, Del. – Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects in connection to a homicide last year.

During the afternoon hours of October 29, 2023, Laurel Police and Delaware State Police troopers were called to a reported shooting in the 500 block of West 7th Street. When they arrived, officers found 18-year-old Kylee Robinson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the porch of a residence.

Robinson was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

Two additional victims, a 15-year-old and a 13-year-old, were also found on the porch suffering from gunshot wounds to the lower extremities. They were taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Further investigation determined that two unknown men approached the victims on foot and started shooting before fleeing on foot.
