Outdoor Burn Ban in effect for Somerset Co.

SOMERSET CO., Md. – Somerset County has joined several local counties in issuing a Burn Ban due to dry conditions.

The ban apples to all outdoor burning, including campfires, bonfires, firearms, leaf, brush, grass, and trash burning. Cooking with contained barbeque and charcoal grills is allowed.

The ban will remain in place until dry conditions improve.
