One dead, one injured in Salisbury shooting
SALISBURY, Md. – An investigation is underway following a shooting that claimed the life of a Salisbury man Monday evening.
Just after 7:30 p.m., troopers were called to the 800 block of West Road for a reported shooting. At the scene, police found the victim, identified as 32-year-old Tevin Mumford, who was pronounced dead at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.
It was also learned that a second victim, identified as 33-year-old Ekoye Spates, was taken to TidalHealth by a bystander and later taken to Christiana Hospital in Delaware for treatment of his injuries.
