MAC Inc. holds Soles for Seniors Festival

SALISBURY, Md. – Saturday in Salisbury, MAC Inc. held their Soles for Seniors Festival.

Starting off with a 1-mile fun walk, the festival had live music, crafts, food, and a ton of resources from community organizations.

MAC uses the proceeds from this and other fundraisers to run their essential senior services like Meals on Wheels, which delivers more than 4,400 meals weekly, along with other programs that help older adults live with dignity and independence.

“We’re a nonprofit. Everything we do is totally reliant upon the support of our community. Our community partners, our donations, you know, our fundraising events like this, so seeing people come out to support local seniors is incredible,” said Mike Hedlesky, Marketing and Outreach Coordinator.

MAC’s next big fundraiser is in the spring, with their March for Meals program.
