Lake Forest upsets Woodbridge on the road

GREENWOOD, Del. – Lake Forest hands Woodbridge their second loss of the season by taking down the Blue Raiders 16-14 on the road. The Spartans led 9-0 at halftime before both teams began to pour it on.

Kam’Ren Johnson’s score made it 9-7 but the Spartans went up 16-7 with a score from Demarion Russ before the Blue Raiders scored again thanks to a Ji’Kare Banks touchdown catch.

The Blue Raiders got an onside kick late in the fourth quarter to get one final chance to take the lead. However, Lake Forest cornerback Andrew White sealed the deal with 40 seconds left with the interception.
