Kylee’s mom steps against gun violence
LAUREL, Del,. – A local mother is hosting a walk against gun violence on Saturday, October 26th marking the one-year anniversary of the death of her son Kylee Robinson.
The walk will begin at 11 am Saturday at the corner of West 7th Street in Laurel.
Following the walk attendees will meet at the Roger C Fisher Park to enjoy some free food, hear from guest speakers, and get connected to vendors offering valuable resources.
Organizer Danielle Stevens tells us more about why she decided to host the event.
Stevens says “to bring awareness of gun violence in the area and how it has affected families in the community itself so I hope it can bring the community together and try to figure out some things cause we’re constantly losing you know young people due to the gun violence.”
