Investigation underway into Dover robbery that left one man injured

DOVER, Del. – Police are currently investigating a robbery that left a man injured in State Street Alley.

According to police, around 2:30 a.m. this morning, they were called to that area in response to the robbery.

When officers arrived, they noticed the 57-year-old male victim was stabbed using a knife.

They learned the man was approached by the suspect before they stabbed him and stole his money.

The suspect fled before the arrival of the police.

The victim was taken to the nearest hospital for treatment.
