Harrington Police Department seeking the publics help for donations

HARRINGTON, Del. – Harrington Police are asking the public for help raising money to support children in the community.

The police department will choose several kids in need in the surrounding schools to have a joy-filled Christmas season. The kids will be given the opportunity to shop with an officer to purchase gifts for themselves. This will allow police to give back and build life-long positive memories for kids in the community.

Corporal Hacker also tells WMDT  “We want these kids to be able to pick, and have the excitement to choose whatever they want from the stores”.

You can drop off money donations at the Harrington Police Department located at 10 Mechanic St, Harrington, DE 19952.
