Good Morning Delmarva discusses MCE’s entrepreneur of the year awards

WMDT – Maryland Capital Enterprises is holding their entrepreneur of the year awards on November 7th and are still seeking nominations and sponsors.

This morning, Dory Hayman, the marketing and fundraising manager, stopped by Good Morning Delmarva to tell us more about the event.

At the event, they will be honoring local businesses that serve the community.

Hayman says they want to show their support because they understand they are the building blocks of the economy.

Some of the awards you can win include the innovator award and the workforce development award.

They are looking for business that’s different, provides great service, and is growing.

The deadline for nominations is October 11th and the banquet will be held on November 7th from 6-9 p.m.
