Emerging Leader: Miss Delaware Nova R. Gaffney

WMDT – It’s Monday which means it’s time for Emerging Leaders.

Nova Gaffney is this year’s Miss Delaware, and she is on the road to Miss America.

This morning, she visited Good Morning Delmarva to tell us what it was like to win this prestigious title.

Gaffney says she is grateful for the chance to be a part of such an amazing organization and spread her message on a national level.

She says that talent portion initially drew her in as a professional ballerina, but also the opportunity to discuss advocacy for Domestic Violence was a huge plus.

Nova tells us that she’s very excited to meet the other 50 representatives!
